A few weeks ago, I was delighted when I received a box of colorful macarons from my dear friend, Robin West of And Your Bird Can Sing. A rainbow of pastels, the pink, orange, green, beige and brown rainbow was a feast for the eyes. Straight from Anna-Marie Farrier’s Little Oven bakery, the delicate sandwiches of rich creams and chocolates playfully danced on my palate. Ranging from traditional flavors to boutique creations including olive oil, balsamic vinegar, pumpkin pie and earl grey, these macaron morsels are a perfect treat.
