Working 10 to 6.

Little cream. Lots of hope.

Little cream. Lots of hope.

I’ve got a new favorite nighttime moisturizer, and the only thing stopping me from shouting my love from the rooftops are the freezing temperatures hitting the east coast. It’s from Olay and costs about $20. Their Definity Night Restorative Sleep Cream leaves me looking refreshed and glow-y when I wake up, something that’s not terribly easy to do, considering I wake up at the crack of dawn in the dead of winter.

Hand it to Aveeno.

Aveeno Intense Relief Hand Cream, Drugstore.com, $7

Aveeno Intense Relief Hand Cream, Drugstore.com, $7

I’ve been on the hunt for a hand cream that gives you the same feeling you have after wearing a moisturizing night glove or that straight-from-the-manicurist’s desk feeling. After months on the search, I finally found one worthy of my hands – Aveeno’s Intense Relief Hand Cream!

Formulated with natural oatmeal and rich emollients to heal dry skin, this hand cream forms a protective glove to fight the elements. Seriously lasting through one to two hand washes (no more than that in my experience), this fast-absorbing hand cream is fragrance free and leaves your hands perpetually soft and smooth.

While Aveeno Intense Relief Hand Cream and other Aveeno products are available at many food, drug, mass, club, and specialty stores across the country, I tend to purchase mine at Drugstore.com as it’s usually about $1 cheaper and I can use my points for purchase.

Smooth move.

St. Ives Smoothing In-Shower Exfoliating Body Polish, Drugstore.com, approx. $9

St. Ives Smoothing In-Shower Exfoliating Body Polish, Drugstore.com, approx. $9

Only rarely do I ever find a beauty product that becomes a staple in my daily regimen, but St. Ives Smoothing In-Shower Exfoliating Body Polish is definitely one of them.

Scoop it from the tub and use from head to toe – the polish adds instant happiness to my shower experience. Packed with smoothing grits that aren’t harsh or scratchy, the foaming scrub immediately goes to work exfoliating and cleansing, for skin that feels smooth, clean, and invigorated.

So go ahead, at St. Ives’s affordable prices (that whole giant tub is only $8!) and reputation for quality, you have nothing to lose.
