With New York Fashion Week just about to wrap up, I can’t help but have Fall on the brain. One of my favorite looks came from Naomi Campbell’s Fashion For Relief event, which benefitted relief efforts in Haiti. Styled by Rachel Zoe, the show was a nonstop rush of celeb sightings both on and off the runway. Each model sported a crisp, shimmery white called Diamond District from Dashing Diva’s collection of oh-so-hot nail colors. The color, which surprisingly flattered everyone’s skin tone, is available for a bargain-friendly $6 here.

Gray days ahead.

1457I take back what I said about not being that into manicures. I just got wind of a new polish from Dashing Diva and I’m suddenly itching to get myself to a manicurist’s chair. Although some might resist the gray color, I’m so digging the concrete-y edge that this matte polish gives my nails. And sure, this particular color likely won’t stick around for years and years to come (let’s be serious – when was the last time you wore that black polish you bought last year?), it’s one hot fall color that’s got me feeling pretty tough. Steal supermodel style.

This week kicked off Fashion Week in New York, where thousands of influencers, celebrities, models and fashion fanatics flocked to see the upcoming trends for Spring 2010. With the East Coast running for cover against drizzle and gusty winds, there’s no better time to spruce up your nails with inspiration from Dashing Diva’s leading nail tech, Pattie Yankee. Having collaborated on dozens of shows for this week’s events, she’s got the inside scoop on what’s hot for fall. 

image002My personal favorite look came from Gwen Stefani’s L.A.M.B. show, where her models rocked stark white nails with NYC Fleet Week and a blend of two reds, New York Slice and The Red Carpet, on their toes. All polishes are priced at $8, making this one hot, affordable look. Check out Gwen with one of her models. This is one trend that’s definitely going to be mine before the spring season arrives.
