after a trying work week, i organized a team potluck of sweets and liquor to celebrate the weekend. while strolling the aisles of morton’s, i came across simply organic banana bread mix and bingo, i decided this was the perfect opportunity to use my frozen browned bananas and remainder ghiradelli chocolate chips.
so after i get home from a total body conditioning class and an intense spin, i muster up the energy to not only prepare dinner but to bake the treats. to make the bars gooey, i added 3 browned bananas instead of 2, and undercooked them by about 2 minutes. fresh out the oven, my boyfriend and i topped the dish with ciao bella mint leaf chip gelato. buonissimo!
