For as long as I’ve known my dear friend Renata, she’s always been the most creative and artistic. It had been quite some time since I last gave products from Bath & Body Works a shot, but this past Christmas my mom put in my stocking a trial sized tube of Lay It On Thick™ Shower Cream from their True Blue Spa line. While I’ll always love my crazy affordable Dove washes and scrubs, I couldn’t help but fell head over heels in love with the creamy body wash, which left my otherwise dry and flakey skin soft and smooth.
It doesn’t just smell delicious (think vanilla cupcake meets buttercream frosting…yum!), but it’s super hydrating, and now officially my new favorite soap. Having almost depleted my travel-sized sample, I’m ready to upgrade to the bigger tube, which just happens to be on sale! It might come as a shock to learn that as much as I adore going out, New Year’s Eve is at the very bottom of my list of favorite nights on the town. It’s partly to do with the pressure to have a really great time, but I also resent the “deals” that come along with the evening, usually requiring a boatload of cash for all-you-can-drink specials, which, quite frankly, irritate me.
