After wanting nothing to do with them when they first hit the scene last year, I’ve gradually warmed up to the idea of wearing a romper. When styled correctly, I think the complete look is incredibly chic and simple to pull together. The biggest trick is finding one that isn’t cut super short, and to buy one a size larger than you’d usually wear. Anything too tight will look inappropriate on many different levels. This one, from Rachel Roy’s line for Macy’s, would be ideal for dressing up or down, since it’s minimally embellished and in a fabric that can work well for day or night.
