Earlier in the week, I had the opportunity to attend an intimate demonstration of Clarins‘ new Spring 2010 Collection (spring-inspired cocktails included!) and I spent most of the night ooh-ing and ahh-ing over every single product. The latest collection includes a mix of hydrators, an everlasting foundation, exfoliators and brighteners. I’ve narrowed down my two favorites and have shared with you what I like about them after the jump!

soapClarins’ new Gentle Beauty Soap ($15.00) is the first soap the company has ever made, and they nailed it, making sure it goes beyond your basic bar. Not only does it smell heavenly, but it gets total props for being nearly 100% organic. Even though it’s a bar, this soap lathers quite nicely and doesn’t leave any icky film on my skin.

Clarins has hit a home-run in the self tanner department, with their newest “Delectable” product ($42.00). This mousse is so soft and smooth, it’s like rubbing whipped cream all over your body, without the sticky, smelly residue that so often comes along with traditional formulas. As an added bonus, Delectable contains SPF 15, so you can put it on in the morning before the beach and not worry about burning while looking hot. Don’t forget to wash and exfoliate your hands whenever you are using self tanner! Orange hands are only cute if you are an Oompa Loompa.

Now if only the snow would go away.
