Go bananas.

Skinny Laminxs Banana Bread

Skinny Laminx's Banana Bread

Inspired by Design*Sponge and Skinny Laminx, I plan to let the bananas on top of my refrigerator go brown. Why, you ask? Heather Moore of Skinny Laminx, an illustrator and designer from South Africa, frequently makes this recipe as it’s been in her family for decades. Her trick? Let those bananas get a little bit sad-looking.

I find this image to be incredibly tantalizing, and if that’s what on-the-way-to-rotting bananas do to a dish, it’s going to be a big hit in my house. I’ll let you know how it turns out, chicskates!

Clutch love.

Clutch love.

There’s nothing I like more than a goes-with-anything, high-style clutch. They’re ladylike, big enough to hold my night’s essentials, and add so much more polish to your look than a clunky purse will. This one from accessories designer Catherine Rapetti has my heart racing – its size (11″x7″), its color, and buttery-soft suede add up to be my new, very favorite night-out purse.

The war on germs just got softer.

Germs won't know what hit them.

Germs won't know what hit them.

Dirty hands give me the heebie-jeebies, and while I’m rarely without hand sanitizer, I really can’t stand how dry my hands are after I’ve used it. Thanks to the smarty-pants folks at Gold Bond, however, my complaint is now moot with the launch of their Ultimate Hand Sanitizer Moisturizer. It doesn’t just kill 99.99% of germs, but it also hydrates your skin with 7 moisturizers and 5 nourishing vitamins, all of which is essential to the war against germs.
