Daily Diamond: Mo’s Bacon Chocolate Chip Pancake Mix

Mo's Bacon Chocolate Chip Pancake Mix

Mo's Bacon Chocolate Chip Pancake Mix

As a vegetarian, I’ve never really given much thought to the hysteria that surrounds bacon amongst those who truly love it. Few foods warrant such statements as “I could be a vegetarian if it wasn’t for my passion for bacon.” or “I could live on bacon alone.”. My personal favorite? “I once ate 20 strips of bacon in one sitting, and eating just hasn’t been the same for me since.” These are all true testaments from friends of mine. Yikes.

I know you also know someone who also equates eating bacon to a religious experience, so might I suggest a more heart-friendly option for them this holiday season? Mo’s Bacon Chocolate Chip Pancake Mix from Vosges Chocolate may sound nutty, but as your connoisseur friends may tell you, it will taste divine. The traditional buttermilk recipe blends dark chocolate with Applewood-Smoked bacon bits for a recipe that will make even the toughest critic swoon.

Available here for $12.00.

Kinerase Hydrating Antioxidant Mist, $35.00

Kinerase Hydrating Antioxidant Mist, $35.00

Skincare experts are on the fence when it comes to using toner, but since I was just a little budding beauty product junkie in-the-making, my mom encouraged me to include it in my routine. I found most formulas to be too drying for my fickle skin, but through trial and error, I’ve become hooked on Kinerase’s Hydrating Antioxidant Mist. Less drying than a traditional toner, the product does a lot less stripping and a lot more nourishing. At $35 for the 6.6 ounce bottle, it’s a little pricey, but not only do I refuse to live without it, I’ve also found a way to extend the life of my supply. Check out my secret after the jump!
