I truly believe that the classiest-looking woman in the world is nothing without pedicured feet. You could be wearing thousand dollar Louboutins, but with ashy heels and gnarly nails, you might as well go barefoot if you ask me. It’s easy to maintain great-looking feet at home, but if you’re ever in New York, you must visit Townhouse Spa. Nestled into West 56th Street, the full-service spa is a quiet oasis, far removed from the chaos of midtown. They are also the only spa I’ve ever been to that has completely satisfied my pedicure needs. They don’t cut time short on your leg and foot massage, and seem to get every inch of your foot in tip-top shape.
My pedicure of choice? The Buff Pedicure, which makes my abused soles look like they’ve never run so much as a single mile. I’ve never made it through the whole hourlong service without falling asleep from such a deep state of bliss, but every time I wake up, it’s like a magician has gone to work on my feet. My calluses are gone, my toenails are polished to perfection and my heels, usually beaten up and run-down, are hydrated and soft again.
At $90 for a pedicure, it’s not cheap, but the results are easy to maintain at home, and have lasted me (even during marathon training!) about 8 weeks with a little at-home maintenance. For more information, click here.

My cosmetics pouch is a very exclusive place to be if you’re a lip gloss or blush. I don’t carry much (gone are my middle school days of toting around 50 lip glosses for street cred) but what I do carry are essentials to quickly make me up on the go. One product you’re guaranteed to find in there?
