What to pack for a weeklong beach vacation?

August 16th, 2009 by Catherine

P207812_heroAt the end of the month, I’ll be heading to North Carolina’s Outerbanks for a weeklong vacation and have already begun to make packing lists so I won’t forget a thing. Who wants to run to a drugstore when there’s serious fun to be had? So to ensure I’ve got all my skincare bases covered, I’ve already stashed this genius kit from Ole Henriksen in my suitcase. I tend to break out when I wear sunscreen all day, but with these six products, I’ll be in the clear (literally)! There’s a cleanser, toner, day cream, exfoliating scrub, pore-refining mask, and an anti-aging crème all in one convenient, TSA-approved kit.

So now that my skincare needs are cared for, all I need to do is figure out what clothes to pack… Yikes.

When was the last time you traveled between states for less than $1? Think about it for a minute, while I tell you a little secret about an East Coast treasure…

Bolt Bus will be your new best friend. That’s right – no more scary Greyhound trips. City-to-city travel just got a little more high-style. Ticket prices start at a buck (seriously!), with pickup points in Boston, Philadelphia and New York. You’ll be cruising to your destination with reliable Wi-Fi, leather seats with extra leg-room and not-scary-at-all restrooms on board.

Who doesn’t love a good bargain? Head on over to www.boltbus.com to explore schedule options and fares. And if you’re heading to Boston, fuel up at Four Burgers in Cambridge. Like the shop’s name suggests, there are only four burgers to choose from, each one more delicious than the next!
