For anyone who’s known me longer than a minute, they know that the shortest route to my heart is through the exchange of sweets. I’m a cake/cookie/Cadbury mini egg/gummy bear junkie and am constantly on the hunt for the next best thing in confectionary delights.
There aren’t enough words to describe my love for Red Velvet Cake. If I could eat it for breakfast, I would, but have always lacked indecency to do so. I’ve scoured bakeries throughout New York to find the best varieties (all in the name of research, dear Chic Thrills readers!) and have got to hand it to the folks at Cake Man Raven. The light-but-dense recipe melts in your mouth and is worth every calorie.
