There’s something about Sundays that just warms my heart. The day just conjures memories of loveliness, whether it’s a long run on a beautiful day or mulling over the New York Times with a steaming mug of fresh coffee. Perhaps one of my most favorite things about the day is Sunday brunch. I’ll often have friends over for Bloody Marys and pancakes, not just because I love the combo, but also because it’s a great way to entertain on a limited budget, especially if you can’t reciprocate a friend’s swanky dinner party.
Brew coffee, lay out supplies for Bloody Marys and Mimosas, and try your hand at some easy to make night-before recipes. My personal favorite way to look like a Betty Crocker descendant? Overnight Butterscotch Rolls that are not only a cinch to prepare, but they also make your house smell incredible as they bake the next morning!
